RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

Last updated: 11 September 2026

This Return and Refund Policy applies to consumer purchases made from LAPISK ApS through our online store. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.

14-DAY RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

If you are a private consumer purchasing online, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase without giving any reason within 14 days.

The withdrawal period begins on the day on which you, or a person designated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.

If several items from the same order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins when the last item is received.

HOW TO EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us clearly of your decision to withdraw before the 14-day withdrawal period expires.

You may contact us at:

LAPISK ApS
Richard Mortensens Vej 51, 1. th.
2300 København S
Denmark
Email: info@lapisk.com

You may use the Model Withdrawal Form provided at the end of this policy, but use of the form is not mandatory.

You do not need prior approval from LAPISK to exercise your statutory right of withdrawal.

RETURNING THE GOODS

After informing us of your withdrawal, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which you informed us of your decision to withdraw.

Returns must be sent to:

LAPISK ApS
Richard Mortensens Vej 51, 1. th.
2300 København S
Denmark

For an ordinary withdrawal, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where the customer was informed of this responsibility before purchase.

For large, fragile or heavy products that cannot normally be returned by standard post, including certain stone tables, washbasins and similar products, the applicable return cost or a reasonable estimate of that cost will be provided before purchase where required by law.

If information about return costs that is required by law was not provided before purchase, LAPISK will bear such return costs where required by applicable law.

For freight returns, please contact us so that the return can be coordinated safely. This does not restrict or delay your statutory right of withdrawal.

CONDITION OF RETURNED GOODS

You may inspect the goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, in the same way that you would normally be permitted to inspect them in a physical store.

You may be responsible for any reduction in value resulting from handling the goods beyond what is necessary for such inspection.

We strongly recommend using the original packaging where available, particularly for fragile and heavy natural-stone products. Original packaging is not an absolute condition for exercising your statutory right of withdrawal.

Returned products must be packaged appropriately and securely to reduce the risk of damage during return transport.

NATURAL STONE VARIATIONS

LAPISK products are made from natural stone. Natural stone may vary in colour, veining, texture, pattern, tone and surface characteristics. These variations are inherent to natural materials and make each piece unique.

Natural variations that are reasonably consistent with the type of stone, product description, specifications and any samples or representations provided are not considered defects.

This does not limit your statutory rights if a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or materially different from what was agreed or advertised.

CUSTOM-MADE AND PERSONALISED PRODUCTS

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are made according to the customer's individual specifications or are clearly personalised.

This may include, for example, stone products manufactured to individual dimensions, specifications, finishes or other requirements specifically requested by the customer.

A product is not automatically excluded from the right of withdrawal merely because it is produced, ordered or sourced after an order is placed.

The exclusion for custom-made or personalised products does not affect your statutory rights if the product is faulty or does not conform to the agreed specifications.

REFUNDS

If you validly exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, LAPISK will refund all payments that must be reimbursed under applicable law, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option where required.

Any additional delivery costs resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method, such as express, special or upgraded delivery, are not refundable.

The refund will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of your decision to withdraw.

Unless we have offered to collect the goods, we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you provide evidence that the goods have been returned, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise expressly agreed. You will not be charged a fee for receiving the refund.

FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT GOODS

Your statutory right of withdrawal is separate from your legal rights relating to defective, damaged or non-conforming goods.

Consumers are protected by the statutory rights applicable under Danish and other applicable consumer law.

For consumer purchases governed by Danish law, statutory complaint rights generally apply for two years.

If your product arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us at info@lapisk.com as soon as reasonably possible.

Where relevant, photographs of the product, packaging and shipping label may help us assess and resolve the matter more efficiently. Providing photographs does not remove or limit your statutory rights.

Where LAPISK is responsible for a faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise non-conforming product, reasonable return costs will be borne by LAPISK in accordance with applicable law.

NO ADDITIONAL COMMERCIAL WARRANTY

LAPISK does not provide any additional commercial warranty unless such a warranty is expressly stated in writing for a specific product.

This does not affect any mandatory statutory rights available to consumers, including rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods.

B2B PURCHASES

The statutory consumer right of withdrawal described above does not apply to purchases made by businesses acting for commercial purposes.

B2B returns, cancellations and claims are governed by the commercial terms agreed for the relevant order and any mandatory rules that may apply.
